Explore the surroundings of Tepoztlán, like the mountains and the underground caves where you can explore ancient cave paintings and places where the Mexican revolutionaries used to take shelter in 1910. Go with your guides on an afternoon adventure. This place is considered mystical and famous for all of it's historic happenings. Take the chance...feel wild and free! Come to Tepoztlán! SUNDAY EXCURSIONS The Saturday and Sunday excursions will change every week, and the cost varies from $18.00us dollars and up depending on distance, time and other factors. Students are responsible for entry fees, if any. Typical archeological sites and museums are $4-5us. Some recreation spots are more. We visit many cultural and natural places, in the state of Morelos on Saturday to places like Cuernavaca, Rio Las Estacas or the pyramids of Xochicalco, south of Cuernavaca. On Sundays we travel outside of the state to places like Mexico City, the pyramids of Teotihuacan (pyramid of the sun and pyramid of the moon), Taxco, and Puebla (where the origin of the Cinco de Mayo Celebration comes from in the United States). Occasionally, we go on weekend long excursions to places like Acapulco and Oaxaca (with the traditional indigenous July Guelaguetza festival of dance happens). Excursion: Rio Las Estacas
