It's also an important part of our language program. We pick our homestay families very carefully so that they are able to attend to your day-to-day living and learning needs. Your family will treat you as a member of the family, welcoming you with true Mexican hospitality. They will help you with your homework; to practice your conversation skills and to understand Mexican culture and traditions. Living with a Mexican family is what defines a total Spanish immersion experience. This experience is fun and often the highlight of a student's stay. More than 85% of our students stay with a family. This experience helps you with producing spontaneous conversational speech. Other Accommodations Options at Experiencia Tepoztlán  Experiencia Tepoztlan will soon have 2 rooms on-campus beginning in the fall of 2007. You can arrange for a shared or private room. There are no meals offered on campus. However, there is a kitchen on campus that you may use if you choose. It is important to contact us early regarding the availability of dorm rooms. there are also many restaurants in town serving a variety of cousine, including: Thai, Vietnamese, Italian and of course many reasonably-priced Mexican restaurants. If you are interested in private accommodations, there may be house rentals available. Again, these are limited so contact us early to inquire. There are also a number of hotels and less expensive posadas in the area with a range of prices and features. Payment for the period will be required no later than the first day of classes. If payment is made weekly, the per week rate is charged. Ask about our refund policy on unused weeks of tuition and accommodations. Tuition for classes occuring on Mexican holidays are not discounted nor are hours compensated.
